NRWDI has received a special mention in the Department of Electricity and Energy’s media statement, “Team South Africa Advances Energy Investment Agenda in China.”
The statement highlights the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Radioactive Waste Disposal Institute (NRWDI) and the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) to collaborate on advanced nuclear waste disposal technologies.
The MoU marks an important step in strengthening international cooperation and advancing South Africa’s capabilities in the safe and long-term management and disposal of radioactive waste.
