Legislation

In terms of the provisions of section 21(c) of the Institute Act, the funds of the Institute consist of money transferred to the Institute from the Radioactive Waste Management Fund that must be established by an Act of Parliament.

The Department of Energy is in the process of drafting the Radioactive Waste Management Fund Bill to give effect to the provisions of Section 21(c) of the Institute Act.
