Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or related field.
Required years of related experience:
Minimum 5 years HR experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA)
Experience with HR systems (e.g. SAGE 300 or similar)

Job Description
The HR Manager will oversee and advise the implementation of Human Resources functions, ensuring that both managers and employees have access to the necessary information, procedures, and resources to effectively comply with HR guidelines, legislation, and policies.
The Key Performance Areas (KPAs) of the role include:
Lead and execute HR strategies that align with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and making appointments.
Oversee Human Capital strategies, Talent Management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives to retain skilled and talented employees.
Develop HR policies, procedures, and strategies that support the strategic objectives of the organisation.
Manage the OD programmes, including job profiling, evaluation, and grading.
Manage the labour relations, including disciplinary processes, grievance handling, incapacity, and poor performance issues, and represent the organisation at the CCMA
Develop and implement performance management strategies aimed at enhancing employee performance.
Lead and implement Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and wellness initiatives, which include psychosocial counselling and employee support.
Manage skills development initiatives, such as Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs), ensuring compliance with employment equity regulations.
Facilitate meetings and submissions for the Employment Equity Committee (EEA2 / EEA4).
Oversee payroll administration, leave management, budgeting, and the monitoring of working hours.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Attributes:
Strong working knowledge of SA labour legislation and HR compliance practices.
Competence across HR lifecycle – ER, talent, learning, compliance, analytics.
Understanding of team dynamics
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects).
Verbal and written communication skills
